- The Director of Emergency Services assumes leadershipresponsibility for the divisions clinical and administrativedepartments assigned.
The director is responsible for thedevelopment of patient care programs, policies, and procedures. Thedirector will participate with administration, management, medicalstaff, clinical leaders and frontline employees in the decisionmaking structures and processes. The director will implement aneffective, ongoing program to measure, assess, and improve thereliability and quality of care delivered to patients. The directoris responsible for budgeting and managing supplies, equipment, andpersonnel in the division. The director will ensure that divisionstaff has sufficient information to comply with corporatecompliance program.

- Master’s Degree preferred or working towards completion withinthree years of hire.
- Certifications and Experience
- Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State ofAlabama
- BLS within 30 days
- ALS within 6 months
- Previous Hospital Leadership experience
- Knowledge of business application
- 5-7 years nursing experience with demonstrated progressiveresponsibility in management preferred
