Responsibilities:

NowHiring Medical Surgical Ortho Registered Nurses for our Ortho unit.

The Medical Surgical Registered Nurse is responsible for thedelivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process ofassessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. Providesdirect patient care within the scope of practice. The RegisteredNurse also directs and guides patient/family teaching andactivities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standardsof care in the Med/Surg/Telemetry Unit. The Registered Nurse isdirectly responsible and accountable for the care given to his/herassigned patients.

He / She

communicates with physician aboutchanges in the patients clinical condition including cardiacmonitoring, results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Isable to respond quickly and accurately to changes in conditionand/or response to treatment. Day Shift 12 hour shift Orthopedic Experience helpful weekend shift differentials

Team Nursing Qualifications:

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1.Current and valid state RN License. 2. Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current. 3. Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain currentpreferred. 4. Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred. 5. Ventilator Management experience preferred. 6. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
