Position Summary:
The RN is accountable for delivering and coordinating patient care. This role involves identifying and addressing patients’ needs and priorities through assessment, planning, and collaboration with other healthcare professionals. The RN will carry out physician orders and supervise the execution of nursing interventions. Acting as a patient advocate, the RN represents the patient’s interests when illness inhibits an individual from physically or emotionally expressing their feelings or thoughts. The RN assesses the effectiveness of care by evaluating clinical outcomes, patient satisfaction, and cost-effectiveness.
