RN Home Health Russellville Hospital 15155 U.S. Highway 43, Russellville, AL 35653 Company Overview Russellville Hospital is a non-profit acute care facility with 49 beds, dedicated to serving northwest Alabama. It holds full accreditation from The Joint Commission. The hospital offers a wide range of services, including a 24-hour Emergency Room, Intensive Care Unit/Cardiac Care Unit, Respiratory Therapy, as well as inpatient and outpatient diagnostic and treatment services. Other services include Rehabilitation Services, Cardiac Catheterization, Ambulatory Surgery, Laboratory services, and Home Health. The medical staff provides expertise in various areas, such as Anesthesiology, Cardiology, Emergency Medicine, Family Practice, General Surgery, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Gynecology, Orthopedics, Pathology, Pediatrics, Podiatry, Radiology, and Urology. Additionally, the hospital functions as an educational clinic for nursing, laboratory, and radiology students from the local area. Summary The RN is responsible and accountable for providing and coordinating patient care. The RN identifies and addresses patient’s needs and priorities through assessment, planning and collaboration with other health care providers. The RN will execute physician orders and implement nursing interventions. The RN functions as a patient advocate representing the patient’s own interests when illness prevents an individual from being physically or emotionally able to express their own feelings or thoughts. The RN evaluates response to care through the outcomes of clinical results, patient satisfaction and acceptable cost. Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in home settings, ensuring comfort and safety. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers. Conduct assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients. Educate patients and families on health management and disease prevention. Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and interventions. Requirements Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Alabama. Experience in home health or community nursing preferred. Strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
