Job Summary:

KeyResponsibilities:

Patient Care:

/n /n

• Assess, plan,implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients with a variety ofmedical conditions and post-operative needs. /n
• Monitor patientstatus, including vital signs, lab results, and response totreatments. /n
• Administer medications and treatments inaccordance with physician orders and established protocols.

Clinical Documentation:

/n /n

• Maintain accurate andthorough patient records, including assessments, interventions, andoutcomes. /n
• Communicate effectively with the healthcare teamregarding patient progress and any changes in condition.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Coordinate care withphysicians, physical therapists, dietitians, and other healthcareprofessionals. /n
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses,treatments, medications, and post-discharge care.

Technical Skills:

/n /n

• Operate and maintain medical equipmentsuch as IV pumps, wound vacuums, and telemetry monitors. /n
• Perform procedures such as catheterizations, wound care, and IVinsertions.

Patient Advocacy:

/n /n

• Promotepatient safety and ensure compliance with hospital policies andregulatory standards. /n
• Address patient concerns and ensurecomfort and dignity throughout the care process.

Emergency Response:

/n /n

• Recognize and respond to deterioratingpatient conditions, including initiating life-saving interventionswhen necessary. /n
• Actively participate in code teams and rapidresponse scenarios.

Qualifications:

Licensure:

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the practicing state. /n

• Education:

  Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor ofScience in Nursing (BSN) required. /n

• Certifications:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
