Required Skills and Qualifications:
RN currently licensed by the State of Alabama. At least 6 months of nursing experience, preferably with geriatric involvement.
Your Responsibilities:
Administer medications. Administer treatments, including dressings, catheterization, suctioning, oxygen, etc. Assist in direct resident care as necessary. Maintain accurate documentation of medication administered and care rendered. Assist in admission and discharge procedures. Respond to resident emergency call systems as indicated. Make rounds with physicians and transcribe orders. Keep physicians and families aware of changes in residents’ conditions. Maintain the self-respect, personal dignity, and physical safety of each patient. Assure continuity of services and care. Attend in-service training and education sessions as assigned. Perform specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
