What You Will Do:

Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization. Implement and monitor patient’s on telemetry while excising; post cardiac event.. Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. Note and carry out physician and nursing orders. Facilitate patient moving into a healthier life style .

What You Will Need:

Licensure / Certification /

Registration:

BLS and ACLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Licensed Associate Professional Registered Nurse credentialed from the Alabama Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

Additional Preferences:

Cardiac experience required, irregular rhythm’s must be identified and managed promptly & correctly. About UAB St.
