Responsibilities:
The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safepatient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning,implementation and evaluation. Provides direct patient care withinthe scope of practice. The Registered Nurse also directs and guidespatient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnelwhile maintaining standards of care in the ICU. The RegisteredNurse is directly responsible and accountable for the care given tohis/her assigned patients; He/She communicates with the physicianabout changes in the patient’s clinical condition includinghemodynamic monitoring, results of diagnostic studies and abnormalresults and symptomatology. Is able to respond quickly andaccurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.

Qualifications:
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING 1.
Current and valid state RNLicense. 2. Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current. 3. Completion of Critical Care Course preferred. 4. Basic Arrythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire. 5. Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintaincurrent. 6. Minimum of one year as a staff RN in acute care hospital,critical care preferred. 7. Critical Care RN (CCRN) Certification preferred. 8. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
