Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated RN ICU to join our team in a full-time day shift position. As an RN ICU, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced and challenging environment. Your primary goal will be to ensure the safety and well-being of critically ill patients, while also providing support and guidance to their families. You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans, monitor patient progress, and administer medications and treatments as needed. •20,000 Sign-On Bonus•
Minimum Qualifications:
Active RN license Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (minimum ADN) BLS or must obtain within 30 days of hire date ACLS certification or must obtain within 1 year of hire date Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-stress environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU setting CCRN certification Experience with electronic medical records systems Bachelor’s degree in nursing
Responsibilities:
Assess and monitor critically ill patients, including those on life support Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans Educate patients and their families on their conditions and treatment options Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
Skills:
As an RN ICU, you will utilize your exceptional clinical skills and critical thinking abilities to provide the highest level of care to critically ill patients. You will need to be able to work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals, communicate effectively with patients and their families, and remain calm and focused in high-stress situations. Additionally, you will need to be proficient in administering medications and treatments, monitoring patient progress, and maintaining accurate medical records. Your ability to think on your feet and make quick decisions will be essential in this role.
