We require 5+ years experience as a registered nurse in an acute care setting. Previous infusion experience is a plus.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Uses the nursing process to care for and/or educate individuals in the promotion and maintenance of health. Uses systematic critical-thinking to guide data gathering, assessment, nursing judgment. Responsible for coordinating and managing aspects of infusion nursing care as ordered by the physician. Delivers care in collaboration with the patient, their family and all members of the health care team. Submits required documentation of care within required time frame including initial assessments, visit encounters, patient education. Participates in interdisciplinary collaboration and communicates urgent clinical findings in a timely manner. Maintains annual competencies Maintains privacy, security and confidentiality of patient, staff and organizational data Fosters a non-discriminatory work environment in which care and services are delivered in a sociocultural sensitive manner. Ability to work well independently with minimal supervision, while demonstrating strong work ethics to meet goals and provide stellar customer service to patients. Travel to assigned territory as needed with willing flexibility to meet patient needs. Availability for assisting with On-Call responsibilities, as needed.
