This 22-bedunit operates within a trauma III hospital setting, ensuringpatients receive optimal medical attention and support. Performs plan ofcare intervention, including medication administration, specimencollection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical caretreatment. Documents patient care given. Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition asappropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family. Assists patients with performing activities of daily living,including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, andambulation. Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patientcare, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, andspiritual/psychosocial support needs.
