Position Summary:
The RN Recovery/PACU nurse provides direct and indirect patientcare utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning,implementation, and evaluation. This position will meet thephysical, psychosocial, religious/cultural and needs of the patientand family and will communicate effectively with all members of thehealth care team as appropriate about changes in the patient’scondition or response to treatment.

Minimum Qualifications:
Required Education:
Associate degree is required Bachelor’s degree is preferred
Required License:
Registered Nurse in North Carolina is required (or compactstate)
Required Certification:
BLS certification required Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 90 days of hire
Other:
1 year of experience in a health care setting is preferred
