JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Job:
Responsible and accountable for a group of patients during a designated time frame and to provide care to these patients via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the environment/instrumentation, and other health care team members. Performs essential functions needed to carryout Stress Testing, Transesophageal Echo, Cardioversion, Tilt Table Testing, Holter Monitor Scanning, Bubble Study, & EKG. This employee will also take rotating call for weekend and holiday coverage.
Minimum Qualifications:
Successfully completed Board Certified Nursing Program Current LA RN License required Current BLS and ALS certifications through any International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR) provided courses such as but not limited to: Ochsner Health System, American Heart Association, and American Red Cross. The ILCOR course must include a manikin check off Must be able to work flexible hours and rotate call.
Physical Demands:
Must possess good physical health. Some requirements include but are not limited to standing, sitting or walking for long periods of time. Lifting at least 20 pounds is required. Must be able to work with a moderate level of noise.
