Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records. Record patients’ medical information and vital signs. Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify andassess patient’s condition. Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patients’responses and conditions. Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess,plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans. Monitor all aspects of patient care in a collaborativemultidisciplinary setting Instruct individuals, families, or other groups on patient careand disease process Prepare patients for and assist with examinations ortreatments. Provide and instruct patients and families regarding dischargeinstructions Supports the facilitys Standards of Performance and ICAREvalues Maintains knowledge and follows all CMS and JCAHOrequirements Successfully complete critical care unit specific competenciesyearly Required attendance and completion of all requiredtraining/skills and all Health-stream assignments completed by duedate Qualifications RN licensure by Tennessee Board of Nursing or a Board ofNursing from a compact state. Bachelors degree is preferred BLS required Must obtain ACLS within 6 Months of hire or transfer fromnon-ICU area Specialty certification preferred One to two years clinical nursing preferred ICU experience preferred.
