Job SummaryWe areseeking a dedicated RN OR to join our team at Memorial HermannSurgery Center Woodforest. This role plays a crucial part inensuring seamless surgical and patient care operations. Key Responsibilities Provides nursing care and service during surgery cases Responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient,and circulating the case Experienced in surgical procedures in the followingspecialties: Orthopedics, ENT, General, GI, Gynecology,Ophthalmology, Pain, Plastic, Podiatry, Urology.
Skills Required Interdependent Partnering Good communication and human relations skills Mastering Complexity Ability to organize and follow through on own initiative. Ability to master new skills. Technical/Functional Thorough knowledge of all phases of perioperative processincluding knowledge of surgical procedures and anesthesiaimplications. Current nursing assessment and patient care skills. Telemetry experience necessaryExperience Required Graduate of an approved school of nursing. Currently licensed in the state. CPR certified. ACLS certification is required within 6 monthsof employment if not currently certified. One year experience required intra-operative setting Critical Care or PACU experience preferred.
