To better serve our communities growth SOVAH DanvilleEmergency Department is currently under a complete renovation tobetter serve our patients. The new Emergency Department will be a31-bed unit with a 4:1 ratio for acute patients, with designatedbehavioral health safe rooms. Our Emergency Department providescare to patients across the lifespan for all medical emergencies.

We are a designated Chest Pain Center & Certified Advanced PrimaryStroke Center. We are an academic teaching site for residents,medical students, nurses, nurse practitioners, pharmacists, andphysician assistants. Qualifications:

Applicants should have a current VA (orMulti-state) RN license and possess a nursing degree from anaccredited nursing school ( Bachelor’s degree preferred).

Additional requirements include:

American Heart Association BasicLife Support Experience in clinical area preferred American HeartAssociation ACLS within 6 months of hire Pediatric Advanced LifeSupport (PALS) American Heart Association OR Emergency NursePediatric Certification Emergency Nurse Association (ENPC) required, or within six (6) months of hire Trauma Nurse CertificationCourse (TNCC) Emergency Nurse Association , preferred
