• Professional development and growth opportunities Department/Unit Summary 5A is an acute care medical surgical unit. On a typical day, 6A has24 patients with a 1:6 nurse/patient ratio and 1:10 CA/patientratio
• -We serve the general population of hospitalizedpatients with a variety of conditions. The conditions includeillnesses, surgery, testing, and observation patients. We take careof patients with comorbidities like diabetes, hypertension, stroke,renal and psychiatric issues
