The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient care and demonstrate proficiency in various nursing practices. This role is essential in providing high-quality healthcare services in a hospital or ambulatory surgery center setting, ensuring the well-being of patients through effective medical documentation and health coaching. Duties Deliver comprehensive patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing interventions. Perform IV insertion and manage intravenous therapies as needed. Conduct sonography procedures and assist with diagnostic imaging when required. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans. Maintain accurate medical documentation to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards. Educate patients and families on health management strategies, including health coaching for improved outcomes. Monitor patient progress in medical-surgical settings and adjust care plans accordingly. Qualifications Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. Experience in a hospital or ambulatory surgery center preferred. Proficient in medical documentation practices and patient care protocols. Knowledge of workers’ compensation law and DME processes is a plus. Strong skills in IV insertion, sonography, and health coaching are highly desirable.
