JobDescription Summary:

Looking to fill Endoscopy/Wound clinic RNposition. There are on-call requirements. Provides general nursingcare to patients and families throughout the continuum of care indiverse, acute health care settings. (Department has scheduledstaff to operate 24/7/365). The RN accountable for the practice ofnursing as defined by the Ohio Board of Nursing. The RN delegatesnursing tasks to licensed practical nurses (LPNs) and unlicensedassistive personnel (UAPs) using the criteria written in the OhioNurse Practice Act. According to department policies and nursingcare standards, provides professional nursing care services topatients. Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, andevaluating nursing care provided to assigned patients.

Responsibilities And Duties:

Assessment/Diagnosis

• Performsinitial, ongoing, and functional health status assessment asapplicable to the population and or individual (30%). OutcomesIdentification/Planning
• Based on nursing diagnoses andcollaborative problems, documents planned nursing interventions toachieve outcomes appropriate to patient needs (30%).Implementation/Evaluation
• Evaluates and documents response tonursing interventions and achievement of outcomes at appropriatelydetermined intervals; as part of a multidisciplinary team, revisesplan of care based on evaluative data (20%). Leadership
• Activelyparticipates in process improvement activities to achieve targetedmeasures of clinical quality, customer satisfaction, and financialperformance (10%).

Minimum Qualifications:

Associate’s Degree (Required)BLS

• Basic Life Support
• American Heart Association, RN
• RegisteredNurse

MINIMUMQUALIFICATIONS

• Current Registered Nurse license from the State ofOhio and/or current Registered Nurse license in good standing witha multi-state compact state.
• BLS certification
• BSN required at5 years of employment
