We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining nursing functions within the Procedure Room, including assisting with egg retrievals, cyst aspirations under anesthesia, and providing post-anesthesia recovery care. You will also assist with embryo transfers and related procedures, ensuring the highest standards of clinical care. This role is available as a per-diem position, offering flexibility based on your availability. Responsibilities Complete necessary chart and anesthesia packets according to protocol, including consent checks. Verify patient identity and prepare patients for procedures. Position patients appropriately and maintain a sterile environment during procedures. Assist physicians and anesthesiologists during procedures and recovery. Monitor patients’ post-anesthesia, assess pain and nausea, and provide appropriate interventions. Ensure compliance with discharge instructions and maintain accurate documentation. Prepare for and assist with various clinical procedures, including D&Es, office hysteroscopy, and more. Conduct allergy assessments and initiate necessary precautions. Administer emergency care as needed, including CPR and code blue protocols. Participate in supply management, inventory restocking, and equipment maintenance. Working Conditions This position requires physical stamina, including lifting and positioning patients and equipment. Must be able to respond to emergency situations with composure and efficiency.
