Job Description
Summer First Aid Coordinator / Nurse Talcott Mountain Science Center & Academy 324 Montevideo Road, Avon, CT 06001 The Talcott Mountain Science Center (TMSC) is seeking an On-site First Aid Coordinator (or Nurse) for weekly, seasonal, part-time summer employment at our Avon, CT, campus during the following weeks: July 21-25 | July 28-August 1 | August 4-8 | August 11-15 Duties include staffing the health office for our classroom-based summer program that serves students in kindergarten through eighth grade. Additional responsibilities include administering first-aid, family supplied medications, and attending to health issues that arise during the day. The work day is 8:30AM to 4:00PM, with students on campus from 9:00AM to 4:00PM. Each week hosts approximately 60-100 students in kindergarten through eighth grade on campus daily.
Qualifications:
21+ years old, CPR certified, First Aid certified. Medical professional (nurse, EMT, etc) preferred but not necessary. Should have experience working with children.
