• Assesses patient needs, signs and symptomsindicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’scondition Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implementand evaluate patient care.
• Collects, analyzes, and interpretsdata and information from health care members and documents actualand/or potential nursing diagnoses.
• Documents the patient’s planof care using identified nursing diagnoses, expected patientoutcomes, and selected nursing interventions.
• Initiates andevaluates patient and/or family education.
• Revises and documentsthe plan of care according to evaluation, changes in medical planof care, and effective/ineffective nursing interventions.
