Fridays through Sundays, day shifts: 9 AM – 9 PM, 36 hours weekly

Compensation:

$75 per hour

Position Overview:

A gracious senior couple in Southport, CT, is seeking an experienced, full-time RN to join their household team as a live-out caregiver. The role entails 36 hours per week. The ideal candidate is intelligent, poised, and thrives in a more traditional, formal environment. This is a hands-on position requiring adaptability, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate closely with other domestic staff. The successful candidate will bring a high degree of professionalism and a calm, supportive presence, helping the principals maintain both their health and their independent lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with daily living activities while preserving the principals’ autonomy and dignity Offer companionship and ensure overall well-being and safety, especially during overnight hours Support mobility needs for each principal during night and daytime shifts Manage and administer medications as prescribed Monitor vital signs and report concerns as needed Prepare light meals or snacks as requested Collaborate seamlessly with the household team to provide coordinated care

Qualifications:

RN with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in private duty nursing and/or a clinical setting (must have private duty nursing experience) Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
