Registered Nurses utilize thenursing process (assessment, planning, intervention, documentation,and evaluation) to provide direct and indirect patient care basedon area(s) assigned, addressing the age appropriate needs of allpatients. Follows nursing department philosophies, policies andprocedures to develop unique education and care plans for eachpatient and provide appropriate education and support for familymembers. Utilizes judgment, knowledge and understanding of patientand family needs when directing ancillary staff. Responsible forensuring customer satisfaction (patient, family, physician,others), maintaining patient confidentiality and being sensitive tothe age specific patient needs for comfort, privacy and generalizedcare. Incumbents of this position will annually complete theattached competency requirements specific to their area(s) ofresponsibility. Qualifications Maintains current license as aRegistered Nurse in the State of Connecticut Bachelor’s degree infield of Nursing preferred. We take great care of careers.
