Under the direction and generalsupervision of the Nurse Manager, the registered nurse utilizesevidence based practices in accordance with the State NursePractice Act, policies and procedures of the hospital and asdirected by the medical staff. The registered nurse who throughknowledge and ability uses the nursing process to develop a plan ofcare which includes standards of practice to meet the physical,emotional spiritual, cultural and educational needs of the patientand family. We handle everything from a sore throat or rash toX-rays and laboratory services or broken bones treated by anorthopedic surgeon through our affiliation with MidState MedicalCenter. You’re not going to find that breadth of service at everyurgent care center. That’s why we received a Certified Urgent Caredesignation from the Urgent Care Association of America, whichdistinguishes MediQuick as a true Urgent Care center.

Qualifications Education Requirements

• BSN (preferred) MinimumRequirements
• Current RN license in state of Connecticut
• Abilityto manage multiple priorities in a high volume environment.
• Self-directed in the management of patient care.
• Highly effectiveverbal and written communication skills.
• Independent problemsolving skills
