RN Emergency Room 4.1 4.1 out of 5 stars Putnam, CT Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse for our Emergency Room department. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in patient care, critical thinking, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. As an essential member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality care to patients experiencing acute medical conditions and emergencies. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine immediate medical needs. Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, heart rate, and temperature. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Perform suturing and other minor surgical procedures when necessary. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans. Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and health management. Maintain accurate documentation of patient information in compliance with hospital policies. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance nursing skills. Experience Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS Current NVCIT (Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Training) certification or within 3 months of hire required 2 Years of experience required • Join our team of compassionate healthcare professionals dedicated to providing exceptional emergency care.
