  • All in One Location Your role involves:
  • Providingdirect patient care to inpatients in need of hemodialysis.
  • Supervising care and treatments, conducting patient assessments,creating personalized care plans, and addressing patient concerns.
  • Building rewarding relationships with patients by understandingtheir physical, mental, and emotional needs to aid in theirrecovery.
  • Educating nursing staff on the care of the hemodialysispatient, hemodialysis equipment, and hemodialysis standards ofcare.

Qualifications License orCertification:
  • Current RN licensures as required by stateregulations.
  • CPR certification
  • ACLS within 1 year of hire
  • CRRN certification preferred (If you don’t have it, we can help youto obtain it!)
  • 6 months dialysis nursing experience required.
  • 1year of experience in inpatient hospital setting preferred.
Machines, Equipment Used:
  • General office equipment such ascomputer/laptop, telephone, copy/fax machine, calculator, scanner,etc.
  • Microsoft Office software, to include Outlook, Word, andExcel.
  • Tablo dialysis machine
Physical Requirements:
  • Visualacuity, speech recognition, speech clarity.
  • Ability to lift,lower, push, pull, and retrieve objects weighing a minimum of 30pounds including medical supplies and equipment and thetransferring and repositioning of patients. Reasonable assistancemay be requested when lifting, pushing, and/or pulling areundertaken which exceeds these minimum requirements.
  • Ability towithstand prolonged standing and walking.
  • Ability to reach,stoop, bend, kneel, and crouch are required for patient carefunctions and in setting up and monitoring equipment.
Skills andAbilities:
  • Oral communication, written communication, fluency inEnglish, active listening.
  • Information ordering, deductivereasoning, social perceptiveness, time management, criticalthinking.
  • Ability to coordinate, analyze, observe, makedecisions, and meet deadlines in a detail-oriented manner.
  • Ability to work independently without continuous supervision.
Environmental Conditions:
  • Indoor, temperature controlled,smoke-free environment.
  • Handicapped accessible.
  • May work understressful circumstances at times.
Proficiency or ProductivityStandards:
  • Has regular, reliable, and predictable attendance andpunctuality.
  • Adheres to dress code including wearing ID badge.
  • Adheres to Standards of Business Conduct.
  • May be required to workweekdays and/or weekends, evenings and/or night shifts if needed tomeet deadlines.
  • May be required to work on religious and/or legalholidays on scheduled days/shifts.
  • May be required to performother duties as assigned by supervisor.
