Unit Description:
B3 is a large in-patient post-surgical unit thatis comprised of 36-private patient rooms. We care for patients fromthe Surgical Intensive Care Unit, Step-down Unit, EmergencyDepartment, and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit.

Salary Range:
$34.65 – $35.69 Job DescriptionImplements physician orders, administers medications, starts IVs,performs treatments, procedures and special tests, and documenttreatment as required by company policy and local/state/federalrules and regulations. Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostictests to identify and assess patients’ conditions. Assesses andevaluates patient needs for, and responses to, care rendered.
Applies sound nursing judgment in patient care managementdecisions. Provides primary and emergency care for occupational andnon-occupational injuries and illnesses. Administersover-the-counter and prescription medications as ordered.
Collaborates with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care for allpatients. Directs and guides ancillary personnel and maintainstandards of professional nursing.
