Fairview is a not-for-profit, stand-alone skilled nursing facility that puts quality care first. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of skilled nursing experience, a strong clinical background and a passion for education and wound care. Works directly as a part of nursing leadership team to make evidence based, informed decisions to implement processes and policies to maintain and improve the care provided to our residents and patients. Responsibilities Manages education as required by state and federal regulations Assists HR with orientation processes and follow through Performs hands-on nursing education including staff competencies Assists IP with infection control related education Creates learning opportunities for staff Manages annual skills fair Implements education according to facility need or as delegated by

DON/ADON

Assesses wounds in the facility and makes recommendations for treatments Performs weekly wound rounds with the wound MD Tracks and logs wounds in the facility Participates as a member of the

QAPI/QAA

committee Attend weekly risk meeting Creates and implements programs to promote a positive work environment Schedule Generally M-F. Can be flexible and depending on needs of the facility Ability to see all three shifts as needed
