Salary Range:
$68,640.00 – $70,699.20 TheClinical Nurse contributes to the creation of a compassionate andcaring environment for patients, families and colleagues throughdisplays of kindness and active listening. - Implements physician orders,administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments,procedures and special tests, and document treatment as required bycompany policy and local/state/federal rules and regulations.
- Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify andassess patients’ conditions.
- Assesses and evaluates patient needsfor, and responses to, care rendered.
- Applies sound nursingjudgment in patient care management decisions.
- Provides primaryand emergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuriesand illnesses.
- Administers over-the-counter and prescriptionmedications as ordered.
- Collaborates with the nursing team tocreate a Plan of Care for all patients.
- Directs and guidesancillary personnel and maintain standards of professional nursing.
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate of a professional academicnursing program in which a Diploma, Associate Degree orBaccalaureate Degree is conferred
- Must hold current NYSRegistered Nurse license
- Obtains and maintains certification inBasic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Minimum of 1-3 years of previous clinical RN experience in Med-Surgor Progressive Care
- Excellent communication, prioritization,organizational and time-management skills
- Possesses knowledge ofquality concepts, principles, and problem-solving tools andtechniques and demonstrates ability to apply in support ofdepartmental and patient care quality improvement.
