Salary Range:

$68,640.00 – $70,699.20 Theclinical Nurse contributes to the creation of a compassionate andcaring environment for patients, families and colleagues throughdisplays of kindness and active listening. Recognizes andappreciates that each employee’s work is valuable and contributesto the success of the Mission. Implements physician orders,administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments,procedures and special tests, and document treatment as required bycompany policy and local/state/federal rules and regulations.

Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify andassess patients’ conditions. Assesses and evaluates patient needsfor, and responses to, care rendered. Applies sound nursingjudgment in patient care management decisions. Provides primary andemergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuries andillnesses. Administers over-the-counter and prescriptionmedications as ordered. Collaborates with the nursing team tocreate a Plan of Care for all patients. Directs and guidesancillary personnel and maintain standards of professional nursing.

Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (GED) withpost-high school training or related work experience. Certificationwith the National Association of Health Unit Coordinators (NAHUC)preferred. Minimum of one-year healthcare or clerical experiencepreferred. Must be able to operate basic office equipment (fax,photocopier, calculator) and demonstrate basic computer skills.

Able to communicate effectively on a wide range of issues withinternal and/or external customers, initiate follow-up actions.

Able to work with others to accomplish a task or goal, be flexiblein work practices, procedures, and/or processes, work efficientlywith others to find solutions. Ability to be honest, to bepunctual, and to perform the job in adherence to the higheststandards of ethical conduct as defined by the AMC Code of Conduct.

Ability to be accurate in such matters as record-keeping, and touse good judgment when performing the functions of the job or wheninteracting with others. Ability to accept direction, carry outorders, to work cooperatively with others and to avoid the creationof unnecessary conflict. Ability to adhere to AMC’s policies,procedures and practices, and to utilize AMC’s problem-solvingprocesses for resolving grievances or disagreements. Ability toindependently organize and prioritize work to complete assignmentsin a timely manner and meet established guidelines. Ability tomultitask and gather data from appropriate resources.
