Salary Range:

$72,072.00 -$74,229.26 The Clinical Nurse contributes to the creation of acompassionate and caring environment for patients, families andcolleagues through displays of kindness and active listening.

Implements physicianorders, administers medications, starts IVs, performs treatments,procedures and special tests, and document treatment as required bycompany policy and local/state/federal rules and regulations.

Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify andassess patients’ conditions. Assesses and evaluates patient needsfor, and responses to, care rendered. Applies sound nursingjudgment in patient care management decisions. Provides primary andemergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuries andillnesses. Administers over-the-counter and prescriptionmedications as ordered. Collaborates with the nursing team tocreate a Plan of Care for all patients. Directs and guidesancillary personnel and maintain standards of professional nursing.

Graduate of a professional academic nursing program in which aDiploma, Associate Degree or Baccalaureate Degree is conferred Musthold current NYS Registered Nurse license Obtains and maintainscertification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac LifeSupport (ACLS) Minimum of 1-3 years of previous clinical RNexperience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care Excellent communication,prioritization, organizational and time-management skills Possessesknowledge of quality concepts, principles, and problem-solvingtools and techniques and demonstrates ability to apply in supportof departmental and patient care quality improvement. Implementsphysician orders, administers medications, starts IVs, performstreatments, procedures and special tests, and document treatment asrequired by company policy and local/state/federal rules andregulations. Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests toidentify and assess patients’ conditions. Assesses and evaluatespatient needs for, and responses to, care rendered. Applies soundnursing judgment in patient care management decisions. Providesprimary and emergency care for occupational and non-occupationalinjuries and illnesses. Administers over-the-counter andprescription medications as ordered. Collaborates with the nursingteam to create a Plan of Care for all patients.
