Job Title:

Inpatient Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Inpatient Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (RN) with at least 1 year of rehab nursing experience to join our dedicated care team. This role is ideal for a nurse who is passionate about helping patients recover from serious injuries, surgeries, or illnesses and regain their independence in a supportive, team-based environment.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Provide direct nursing care to patients recovering from strokes, orthopedic surgeries, spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, and other complex conditions. + Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including physical, occupational, and speech therapists to develop and implement individualized rehabilitation plans. + Monitor patient progress, assess functional abilities, and adjust care plans to support recovery goals. + Administer medications, manage IVs, perform wound care, and assist with mobility and activities of daily living. + Educate patients and families on rehabilitation goals, self-care strategies, and discharge planning. + Promote patient safety and independence through therapeutic interventions and consistent encouragement. + Accurately document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic medical record (EMR). + Participate in team meetings, care conferences, and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

+ Current RN license in FL (or compact license if applicable). + Minimum 1 year of inpatient rehabilitation nursing experience. + BLS certification required; ACLS preferred. + Strong clinical assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills. + Ability to support and motivate patients through the rehabilitation process. + Familiarity with mobility equipment, functional assessments, and rehab protocols.

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) + Certification in Rehabilitation Nursing (CRRN) + Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems such as
