Hours :

Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, 40hrs/week

Communicates with physicians as well as other healthcare teammembers to provide excellent patient care. Performs general nursing care to patients. Administers prescribedmedications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards.

Coordinates the patient care activities for the clinic. Prepares equipment and assists provider during procedures,treatments, examinations, and testing of patients. Screens patients for appropriate information including obtainingthe health history, taking vitals, and conducting a nursingassessment. Documents obtained information in patient chart.

Instructs patient in collection of samples and tests. Responds to patient phone calls in a timely manner with appropriateinput from the physician. Educates patients and families about diagnostic process,medications, nutrition, and maintenance of health and wellness. Suggests solutions to patient care crisis problems andcomplaints. Maintains exam rooms with necessary supplies and materials.

Prepares list of medical supplies needed. Assures appropriate labeling of pathology specimens according tolab protocol as needed. Performs quality control and maintainsrecords on all lab testing. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able toperform each essential job function satisfactorily including havingvisual acuity adequate to perform position duties and the abilityto communicate effectively with others, hear, understand anddistinguish speech and other sounds. Required Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience:
