The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in critical care nursing and demonstrate exceptional clinical skills, compassion, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. This role involves providing high-quality care to critically ill patients while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Responsibilities Assess and monitor patients’ conditions, vital signs, and responses to treatments. Administer medications and intravenous therapies as prescribed. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans. Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment options and care procedures. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations. Perform advanced nursing procedures as required, including but not limited to ventilator management, hemodynamic monitoring, and emergency interventions. Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the ICU department. Uphold safety standards and infection control protocols at all times. Qualifications Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) considered with relevant experience. Previous experience in an ICU or critical care setting is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of animal anatomy, veterinary critical care, and laboratory procedures is a plus for candidates interested in integrating animal care into their practice. Skills in animal handling, restraint, grooming, and kennel management are beneficial for those working with veterinary patients. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Ability to remain calm under pressure while managing multiple tasks effectively.
