Med-Surg RN – $20k Sign-On + Relocation Assistance 5.0 5.0 out of 5 stars 340 NW Commerce Drive, Lake City, FL 32055 Job Summary As a Registered Nurse specializing in Medical/Surgical care, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical setting. Your expertise will contribute to the well-being and recovery of patients across various age groups and medical conditions. #PN1 Duties Assess the patient’s condition during admission and each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in patient status. Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s), and ensure thorough and timely documentation of care administration in the patient’s medical record. Administer prescribed medications, monitor the patient for therapeutic response, and take appropriate action in the event of an unintended response to the medication. Provide exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests, proactively anticipating patient needs, and resolving them. Educate patients, families, and caregivers about the patient’s medical condition, treatment plan, medications, possible side effects, and follow-up measures, ensuring complete understanding by translating complex medical terminology. Experience Must have 1 year of acute care RN experience (prefer recent but if not recent, it’ll depend on the candidate’s years of experience) Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

Registered Nurse Associate Degree Compensation:

Shift Differentials:

4.25/hr nights and $2.00/hr weekend diff Sign on: $20k Sign on
