Your responsibilities will includeassessing patient health, developing and implementing care plans,collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and ensuring adherenceto healthcare standards and regulations. Responsible for the safedelivery and documentation of patient care through the nursingprocess of assessment// diagnosing// planning// implementation//and evaluation. Performs responsibilities in five areas of nursingpractice utilizing critical thinking// management// problem solvingand differentiation of urgency in the role of: clinician//teacher// researcher// leadership and professional development.
Responsible for directing and coordinating nursing care forpatients based on established clinical nursing practice standardssubscribed to by American Nursing Association and in accordancewith the Florida Nurse Practice Act and other regulatory standards.
Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensureeffective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievementof desired patient outcomes. Supports the organization vision andmission. Uses knowledge of patient’s age and cultural diversityinto the provision of patient care. Contributes to the provision ofquality nursing care through excellence in customer service andperformance improvement techniques that demonstrate positiveoutcomes in patient care. The nurse practice is guided by the codeof ethics for nurses with interpretative statements. Travel,Traveler, Staffing, PRN, Seasonal, Winter, As Needed, increaseddemand, season Associate degree from accredited school ofprofessional nursing required; bachelors degree preferred.
Experience:
Experience required. 2 years recent acute careexperience required.
Qualified individuals will successfullycomplete the competency assessment. Experience requirements mayvary by department. Please reference the Nursing Addendums fordepartment specific requirements.
Certifications:
Proof of AmericanHeart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS),current for a minimum of 90 days after hire date. Certificationrequirements may vary by department. Please reference the NursingAddendums for department specific requirements.
License:
RNcurrently licensed in the State of Florida.
Other:
Communicationand interpersonal skills, basic computer skills and customerservice skills required. Certification in specialty area preferred.
