Restorative Nurse 2.8 2.8 out of 5 stars 1213 W Stratford Rd, Avon Park, FL 33825 Our skilled nursing facility is now recruiting an RN Restorative Nurse to become part of our restorative nursing team. The RN Restorative Nurse will be experienced in Long term care, MDS and RAI and will direct restorative care nursing services of the unit, its program, activities and therapies in accordance with regulations and best practices, plan individualized restorative care programs as part of an interdisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, therapists and other staff members, provide restorative care in accordance with care plan, assess quality of care being delivered and recognize the need for improving/changing nursing practices after conferring with Director of Nursing, perform rounds to monitor progress and evaluate patient care, perform rehab assessments for new admissions and existing patients, work closely with therapy department and therapists, perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
FL RN license At least 3 years experience working in a long term care environment as a Restorative Nurse. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively, as part of a team. Knowledgeable about resident rights, HIPAA, Federal and State regulations and guidelines related to nursing homes. Familiarity with Restorative Department regulations, survey processes, assessments, policies/procedures, MDS, documentation requirements. Extremely organized and detail oriented with the ability to perform duties with professionalism at all times. High level of familiarity with nursing home safety practices and procedures. Ability to provide excellent customer service and quality care to our residents.
