Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Operating Room. As a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care during surgical procedures. This is a critical role that requires strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for surgery by ensuring proper positioning and sterile draping
• Assist the surgical team during procedures by passing instruments and supplies
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure a safe and efficient operating room environment
• Administer medications and intravenous fluids as needed
• Document patient information, surgical procedures, and post-operative care accurately
• Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families

Requirements:

• Valid Registered Nurse license in [state]
• Minimum of [3] years of experience in an Operating Room setting
• Proficiency in Pain management / Podiatry/ surgical instruments/ Sterile processing
• Familiarity with ambulatory surgery centers and outpatient procedures
• Knowledge of OR turnover and keeping the flow
