As we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled and dedicated Director of Nursing (D.O.N.) to lead our clinical team and ensure excellence across all aspects of nursing operations.
Position Overview:
The Director of Nursing is a key leadership role responsible for the oversight of all nursing services within the center. The ideal candidate will bring proven experience from an ASC environment, particularly in orthopedics and spine surgeries , and will be a strong communicator and team-builder. This role works closely with our physicians, staff, and administrators to maintain exceptional patient care standards and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, supervise, and mentor the nursing and clinical support staff Oversee daily clinical operations and maintain efficient patient flow Communication with physicians and leadership on patient safety, satisfaction, and performance improvement Manage staffing, scheduling, training, and performance evaluations Coordinate with supply chain and vendors for clinical inventory needs
Resource & Inventory Management:
Oversee clinical supply management, ensure appropriate equipment availability, and coordinate with vendors to maintain readiness without overspending.
Qualifications:
Active RN license in the State of Florida Minimum 3-5 years of nursing leadership experience in an ambulatory surgery center Strong knowledge of orthopedic and spine procedures required Demonstrated success in managing clinical teams and regulatory audits CPR/BLS and ACLS certifications Bachelor’s or Master’s in Nursing (preferred)
