Key Responsibilities:
Monitor, track, and analyze infection trends and outbreaks Develop and implement infection prevention and control strategies Conduct regular surveillance and regulatory reporting Provide education and training to clinical and support staff Participate in policy development, performance improvement, and compliance reviews Serve as a resource to departments across the organization regarding best practices
Qualifications:
RN license required; must be licensed in the state of Florida Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred Certification in Infection Control (CIC) preferred or obtained within a specified timeframe Minimum 3 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in an acute care setting Prior infection prevention or epidemiology experience preferred
