Gulf Coast Medical Center is seeking an experienced Neuro ICU Registered Nurse to deliver exceptional care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. This role involves managing critical neuro patients in a 2:1 ratio and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide specialized care to neuro patients in the ICU setting. Collaborate with the care team using Epic EMR for documentation and coordination. Adhere to hospital protocols and safety guidelines. Float to other sister campuses as needed and integrate seamlessly into different units.
Required Qualifications:
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience with neuro specialty (required). OR degree accreditation in profile; 5 years of ICU nursing experience required.
Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required). Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (required). NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification (required).
System Knowledge:
Experience with Epic EMR (preferred).

Floating Requirements:
Travelers will be the first to float, possibly to sister campuses.
