The ideal candidate will be responsible for administering injectable treatments, including but not limited to cosmetic procedures, while ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety. This role requires a strong background in nursing, particularly in areas such as pediatric intensive care (PICU), urgent care, and geriatrics. The Nurse Injector will work closely with patients to assess their needs and provide appropriate interventions. Duties Administer injectable treatments, including IV infusions and pain management therapies. Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine suitability for injections. Provide catheter care and venipuncture as needed. Develop and implement discharge planning for patients receiving injectable therapies. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation using medical terminology. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Educate patients on post-injection care and potential side effects. Monitor patients during and after procedures for any adverse reactions or complications. Requirements Valid nursing license with experience in PICU, urgent care, or geriatrics preferred. Proficiency in IV infusion techniques and catheter care. Strong knowledge of medical terminology and pain management practices. Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient education and support. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Certification in venipuncture is a plus.
