Key Responsibilities Patient Assessment and Consultation Conduct in-depth consultations to understand client goals and evaluate their suitability for treatments. Review medical histories, identify contraindications, and recommend optimal treatment plans. Treatment Administration Administer injectables such as Botox and dermal fillers, as well as treatments like chemical peels and laser therapy. Prepare treatment areas in compliance with safety and protocol standards. Monitor patients during and after procedures, addressing any concerns or complications. Medical Expertise and Prescribing Assess and address patients’ medical needs, including prescribing medications and non-pharmacologic treatments. Collaborate with physicians or surgeons as needed to provide comprehensive care. Patient Education and Support Educate patients on pre- and post-treatment care, expected outcomes, and potential side effects. Offer follow-up care to ensure optimal results and patient satisfaction. Administrative and Clinical Duties Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, treatment logs, and documentation. Manage schedules, inventory, and quality control protocols. Stay informed about new advancements in aesthetic technologies, treatments, and skincare products. Skills and Qualifications Master of Science in Nursing with a Nurse Practitioner specialization. Valid state Nurse Practitioner license. National certification from an accredited board (preferred). DEA license for prescribing controlled substances. Previous experience in aesthetic or cosmetic treatments (preferred). Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Expertise in medical principles, procedures, and techniques. Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
