Charlotte Hungerford Hospital is a122-bed, general acute care community hospital located inTorrington, Connecticut, that serves as a regional health careresource for the 100,000 residents of Litchfield County andNorthwest Connecticut. CHH offerspersonalized attention from an expert team of caregivers andphysicians that utilize advanced technology and clinicalpartnerships in a convenient, safe and comfortable patientenvironment. The ICU at CHH is a 10 bed unit that cares for complexmedical and surgical patients. These issues include but are notlimited to: respiratory failure, sepsis, drug and alcoholwithdrawal, liver and kidney injury/failure, gastrointestinalbleeding as well as post-op complications. We care for patientsrequiring mechanical ventilation and NIPPV, and are able tocontinuously monitor blood pressure via arterial lines, cardiacoutput, capnography and oximetry. Members of our team includeIntensivists, Clinical Leaders, RNs and multi-skilled techs. Ourstaff works together efficiently, in a supportive environment toprovide high-quality compassionate care to our patient population.

Qualifications Active Connecticut RN license required prior tostart date. Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred. Minimum oneyear Acute Care RN experience required. We take great care ofcareers.
