Facility in Bradenton, FL Job Details Fusion Medical Staffing isseeking a skilled Cardiac Cath Lab RN for a 13 week travelassignment in Bradenton, FL. Required Qualifications:

One year’s recent experience as a Cath Lab RN Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations Current BLS (AHA/ ARC) Certification Current ACLS (AHA/ARC)

Certification Preferred Qualifications:

PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC Certifications RCIS certification Other certifications and licenses may be required for thisposition

Summary:

The Travel Cath Lab RN provides specialized carefor patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and interventionaltreatments. The RN prepares patients for procedures, assists duringinterventions, and monitors immediate post-procedure recovery.

Working closely with cardiologists and cath lab teams, this rolerequires advanced cardiac care skills, cardiac catheterizationskills, strong communication, and the ability to adapt quicklywhile maintaining strict safety and regulatory standards.

EssentialWork Functions:

Conduct assessment of patients prior to procedures, includingreviewing medical history, performing physical exams Assist in positioning patients correctly for the procedure andensure EKG electrodes and cardiac leads are properly placed Assist physicians during procedures, including the placement ofcatheters, wires, balloons, stents, structural heart devices, andother cardiac interventions Operate and monitor hemodynamic equipment, recognizing andresponding to changes in cardiac rhythms and hemodynamicwaveforms Assist in arterial and/or venous sheath removal using closuredevices, manual pressure, or mechanical compression, and transportpatients to the appropriate recovery area Monitor vital signs, ECG, and hemodynamic parameters duringcardiac catheterization and interventional procedure Support post-procedure care, including monitoring patientrecovery and ensuring a smooth transition to the next phase ofcare Maintain and troubleshoot cath lab equipment, ensuringeverything is functioning properly and fully stocked forprocedures Communicate effectively with team members, patients, families,and physicians to provide seamless care Adhere to hospital safety protocols, infection controlguidelines, and regulatory standards Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of practice

Required Essential Skills:

Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonalcommunication skills The ability to read, write, & communicate in the Englishlanguage is required Ability to read/comprehend written instructions, follow verbalinstructions, and proficiency in PC skills Physical Abilities

  • Remain in a stationary position, moveabout, move equipment (50-100lbs), pushing, pulling, bending Interpersonal Skills
  • To work effectively with a variety ofpersonnel (professional and ancillary) to present a positiveattitude and professionalism Technical/Motor Skills
  • Ability to grasp, fine manipulation,pushing/pulling and able to move about when assisting withprocedures and/or using department equipment. Mental Requirements
  • Must be able to cope with frequentcontact with the general public, customers, and meeting deadlinesunder pressure. Must be able to work under close supervisionoccasionally as well as working without assistance from otherpersonnel.
