Port, PIV, PICC, and Midline care; lab draws when needed; Infusions in the home such as: Antibiotics, Immunoglobulins, Alpha-1 Antitrypsins, Enzyme replacements, and more; teaching and training patients when needed such as with Antibiotics, SCIG Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse – Infusion to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in administering infusions and injections, with a strong focus on patient care in both home community settings and clinical environments. This role is essential in providing high-quality nursing care to patients requiring infusion therapy, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process. Duties Administer intravenous (IV) infusions and injections as prescribed by healthcare providers. Monitor patients during infusion therapy, observing for any adverse reactions or complications. Provide catheter care and maintenance for patients requiring long-term access. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans. Educate patients and their families about infusion therapy, potential side effects, and home care instructions. Maintain accurate patient records using eClinicalWorks and other electronic health record systems. Ensure compliance with safety protocols in both Level I and Level II Trauma Center environments. Assist in the management of patients with aliment-related conditions, providing holistic care. Experience Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing. Previous experience in infusion therapy or trauma medicine is highly desirable. Familiarity with eClinicalWorks or similar electronic health record systems is a plus. Experience administering injections and providing primary care is preferred. Ability to lift patients as needed, demonstrating physical capability for the role. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and healthcare teams.
