Fide is seeking skilled and compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our Client’s Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) unit. The LTAC RN plays a critical role in delivering complex care to medically fragile patients recovering from serious illness, trauma, or surgery. These patients often require extended hospitalization, ventilator support, wound care, complex medication regimens, and ongoing rehabilitation. Key Responsibilities:

Deliver evidence-based nursing care to patients with chronic, medically complex conditions Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans Monitor patients requiring ventilator support, tracheostomy care, and frequent vital assessments Administer medications, IV therapies, enteral feedings, and wound care as prescribed Perform complex dressing changes, manage central lines, PICC lines, and chest tubes Recognize early signs of clinical deterioration and respond promptly Communicate effectively with physicians, respiratory therapists, case managers, and rehab teams Educate patients and families about diagnoses, care plans, and discharge goals Ensure accurate, timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) Uphold infection control standards, patient safety, and regulatory compliance Participate in interdisciplinary team rounds, quality improvement initiatives, and staff education

Required Qualifications:

Active RN license in the state of FL Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN preferred) Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications Minimum of 1 year nursing experience in an acute care, ICU, step-down, or LTAC environment

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in long-term acute care, critical care, or step-down/telemetry units Ventilator and tracheostomy management experience Wound care certification (WCC or equivalent) is a plus Familiarity with EMR systems (e.g., Epic, Meditech)
