• Active RN License
• Degree from accredited nursing program

• BLS & ACLS

  Certifications

• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Long Term Acute Caresetting
• Experience with Vents, Trachs, Drips, EG Tubes and ableto read Tele-strips
• Other requirements to be determined by ourclient facility Benefits

• Unlimited Referral Bonuses up to $1,000 DutiesResponsibilities As part of the LTAC unit, Long Term Acute CareNurses (RN) are responsible for caring for patients who requireextended medical care.
• Provide care for 5-6 patients.
• Adjustand perform in fast paced environment
• Keep up with manyadmissions and discharges
• Be able to monitor and administermedications (orally, subcutaneously, and through an IV)
• Educatepatients and family on surgical processes and how to manage theirillness/injury
• Monitor and adjust specialized equipment used onpatients, and record and interpret electronic displays
• Interpretand understand telemetry readings, notifying appropriate medicalteam members of any irregularities
• Perform the duties required ofa registered nurse at all times
• Care for patients with pulmonaryHTN, respiratory failure, COPD, CHF, and A-Fib
• Use computerequipment to monitor cardiac and other vital information
