RN Martin Coast Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare 9555 SE Federal Highway, Hobe Sound, FL 33455 Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, demonstrate clinical expertise, and collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals. This role requires a strong commitment to patient safety and comfort, as well as the ability to adapt to various clinical settings. Responsibilities Assess and monitor patient health status, including vital signs and medical history. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Perform IV insertion and manage tube feeding for patients requiring nutritional support. Operate neonatal ventilators and provide care for newborns in critical condition. Implement infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff. Participate in memory care programs for patients with cognitive impairments. Manage Durable Medical Equipment (DME) needs for patients transitioning from hospital to home care. Administer botulinum toxin treatment under the supervision of a physician when applicable. Utilize Cerner or similar electronic health record systems for documentation and patient management. Conduct diagnostic evaluations to assist in developing comprehensive care plans. Skills Strong clinical assessment skills with the ability to recognize changes in patient conditions. Proficient in IV insertion techniques and tube feeding administration. Knowledge of neonatal care practices, particularly with ventilator management. Familiarity with infection control standards and practices in a healthcare setting. Experience in memory care strategies for patients with dementia or Alzheimer’s disease. Ability to manage DME effectively, ensuring proper usage and patient education on equipment. Competence in administering botulinum toxin treatments safely and effectively. Proficient in using Cerner or similar electronic health record systems for accurate documentation. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
